Contest Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility: The contest is open to individuals of all ages, as long as you are residing in the UK. There are two age categories: 4 to 17 and 18 or over. Employees of ePropulsion Ltd, their family members, or anyone else connected in any way with the competition shall not be permitted to enter.
2. Contest Period: The contest begins on 19th June 2024 and concludes on 31st August 2024.
3. Submission Guidelines: 
       - Entrants must design custom artwork for the ePropulsion eLite motor using either the provided paper template or the digital download template.
       - Submissions can be made in person, by post, or uploaded online with the entrant’s details.
       - Entrants under the age of 16 must have parental consent. Parents’ contact details must be included.
4. Prizes:
       - Overall Winners (one for each age range): ePropulsion eLite electric outboard with custom vinyl skin, branded SUP, 2 x Adult tickets to Southampton Boat Show, and RYA Family Membership.
       - Runners Up (one per age group): ePropulsion branded SUP + RYA Family Membership.
5. Artwork Requirements: No brands, offensive imagery. Club logos allowed. Submissions must be original and by the entrant.
6. Judging: Winners determined by ePropulsion Ltd based on creativity and relevance.
7. Deadline: All entries must be received by 31st August 2024.
8. Rights to Artwork: Participants grant ePropulsion Ltd the right to use submissions for promotional purposes.
9. Changes to Terms: Terms may be changed without notice.
10. Liability and Disputes: ePropulsion Ltd is not liable for entry issues or disputes over submissions.
11. Privacy: Participant information is confidential and used only for this contest.
12. Publicity: Winners may be requested to participate in related publicity without further consent or payment.
13. Use of Artwork: By participating in this contest, entrants grant ePropulsion UK a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use images of the submitted artwork on ePropulsion UK's website, in marketing materials, and in any other publications associated with the promotion of ePropulsion UK's products and services. This includes the right to modify, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use the artwork in any manner deemed appropriate by ePropulsion UK without any further compensation to the entrants.
14. Photography and Publicity: The winners agree to participate in a prize-giving ceremony, where photographs will be taken. By entering the contest, the winners' parents or legal guardians grant ePropulsion UK the right to use and publish these photographs in any media for marketing and publicity purposes without additional remuneration. This includes the right to share and publish photographs that feature the likeness of the winners and their artwork.
15. Parental Consent for Use of Photographs: For entrants under the age of 18, parents or legal guardians consent to the use of photographs taken at the prize-giving ceremony by signing the entry form. This consent includes the use of the child's image and the right for ePropulsion UK to use such photographs as outlined above.
16. Cancellation and Amendments: The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control.
17. Governing Law: This competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
18. Data Protection: Information provided by participants will be used in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018.
19. No Purchase Necessary: No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not increase the chances of winning.
20. Winner Notification: Winners will be notified by email and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
21. Entry Ownership: All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to ePropulsion Ltd will become the property of the promoter on receipt and will not be returned.
22. Decision Final: The decision of ePropulsion Ltd in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
